Jenna Fischer's most famous role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television series The Office. She received the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on an ensemble comedy.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in performances at church while she was young that instilled a passion of performing and theater.
Fischer is an actor with theater training. She was a part of the Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy, written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. After starring in Steve Martin's most recent play Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she went on to perform the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey launched the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform, which has become wildly popular, landing in the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads over its first two years. Office Ladies, which was released in the month of October and was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Month award in January 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends The Office. The memoir deals with their friendship and the work they did for The Office.
