Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back as the other crawled in the playground. I worked 12 hour days, for months, sanding and removing wallpaper, and with just one child. Ha! We were getting closer to being done, yet we were a long distance away. In this undertaking I had planned to invest a significant amount of time and money shopping for my dream home. To keep the budget in check, I began attending estate sales with my three sons to find gems hidden in the dirt. Our weekly routine that included spending Thursday through Saturday walking around sale houses and garages, buying old and new objects. The rest of the week working on painting and sanding the driveway. My first impression was similar to... that's when my passion to restore furniture was born. Even after our house was fully furnished, I could not quit! I had a space in the market at my local location and even sold some items there. My collection eventually grew so large that the room I had was no longer adequate. Over 1000 people visited my home over the course of a weekend, to shop for everything on the ground floor. Growing Days was created in this house. While my company grew as did our family. It was essential to find the right balance to me. I wanted to be a mom and a successful business owner. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora, my 4th kid was born in the year 2013. Although I was happy about the direction my company took, I felt like I needed to take an occasional break. I decided to take a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and also slowed my pace and stayed at home to take care of the kids. That was exactly what I needed at the moment. After a few minutes, my phone began getting busy. I was getting calls from people needing help with the interior decoration and remodeling. It was mostly those who visited my residence to buy furniture. While I was working I added new clients to my list in a series of. However, it didn't take that long before I was managing several clients, and had a successful home remodeling business. There is a good chance that I would have laughed if somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be part of a forthcoming TV show that airs on the DIY Network. As I reflect back, it still makes me giggle.
