Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd took her bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for the TKO victory in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous vote.
